A great way to discover a new artist is to see who current artists you follow are promoting. In this case, this is how I found Dulo. Meaku recently collaborated on a track with Dulo for “Omoge,” and the vibe is interesting. I want to start singing along to the lyrics, though I would have the learn the words before actually attempting. I immediately feel like if I am in a side club or something when this song plays.
FUN FACT: “Omoge” is slang for “bae” in Nigeria. So this song goes out to all the baes out there.
It is calming and intimate at the same time. This is Dulo’s first track on his Soundcloud, and I am just waiting for more material to be released so that I have a better feel of his music taste! Initially, I thought the song would go one way, like an old Sean Paul song, but it ended up going a completely other track! That’s what I like about songs at times. They can surprise you with something that was not anticipated.
I will have to find out more on Dulo, so you best bet I am adding him to one of my artists to watch list!
