Phora’s official music video for Boss Up is out! The beginning has the Prevost bus, which makes me extremely happy. All I can think of is going on tour and meeting people throughout the nation. Ugh, to go on tour. It’s a great way to make connections and meet new people.
The vibe of the video is intimate and quite personal if I may say. You see Phora at his personal moments, whether with the Prevost, puppy, friends, or even alone in his room. We have to work to find our purpose, and we have to deal with fake friends throughout the process.
The first time I heard of Phora was probably back in January with Unspoken from Angels With Broken Wings (2015), and it is interesting to see how different I would have visualized the music video for Boss Up from my own imagination. Overall, the video was executed well, and you can tell that the theme was to be personal, but also playful at the same time. You can see a more “inside” perspective to this whole life of bossing up, and I think that I really enjoyed the color usage!
